Good place to Visit in MyanmarA good place to visit Myanmar
The best place to visit - Myanmar Forum
March 30, 2016, 3:09 pm I am traveling to Singapore in November for 18 working nights in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Borneo and some times in Singapore. I could visit Myanmar for 5 nights because I'm really interested. Where is the best place to visit, I realize after research I am only able to trip to a city/area in 3 working day because of the state of the streets etc.
March 31, 2016, 2:29 a.m. Fly to Bagan on your final destination date. Visiting Bagan on the 2. daily and come back to Yangon by expressbus. 3. in Yangon, stop for a forenoon and visit the area. April 1, 2016, 14:53 April 1, 2016, 16:00 What do you think of the following route, is it practical and do you have a more rational timetable?
Apr. 2, 2016, 2:00 a.m. The route looks crowded and if anything does not leave much in Penang, but with Myanmar I would concur that Bagan is the place you should visit and with your schedule I would say it is enough to appreciate it.
There are even some places of interest in Yangon. April 2, 2016, 3:24 a.m. How many people are there with you? April 2, 2016, 7:17 a.m. I did a little thinking and research on what costs between 25 and 50 GBP, which I think is very sane.
Decreased KL times and elevated in Penang. April 2, 2016, 3:18 pm April 2, 2016, 8:21 pm Jbatt - what exactly are you asking? How about the 3.5 day stay in Myanmar? As you already know you can either go to Yangon or Mandalay....so with 3. 5 day you could reach 2 places...quickly look around Yangon and visit Bagan...forget to waste your bus trip and use early and early arrival planes.
Take a flight to Yangon and head to Bagan, from there back to Yangon, or to Mandalay, then back to KL. When flying out of Yangon, go to Bagan the same flight date you arrived and return to Yangon by your last flight or two....when flying out of Mndly, make sure you are in Yangon when you get there first and go to Bagan on the 2nd arr.
April 3, 2016, 9:36am The beginning of the threads was just to ask people for help if they thought I had enough spare hours in my timetable to visit Myanmar, I wasn't sure about the geographic position of different towns and the lightness of traveling in Myanmar. Vietnam and Cambodia by rail, air and road by the end of 2015, so the timetable I have for this year is also useful in Myanmar.
Are you planning to visit India next year, so if I like what I see during a 3/4 days visit, I can always come back.
