Transportation by rail: By train: There are two train stops that can be reached by cab from the airport terminal, where the Yangon Circular Trainway reaches the city's main train terminal.

It takes about 40-50 min. to get to the city and the ticket prices are minimum (about US$1). There is a train service from Yangon Central to Mandalay (12-14 hrs; fare: US$30-50) and other towns throughout the state. There are a number of exchange offices at the airport, which concentrate mainly on the arrival areas.
