Swedagon Pagoda is the most famous pagoda in Yangon, populated by local people and aliens. The large old pagoda was given by a Japonese to the Aung Dha Ma Yeik Thar Meditation Center and became known as the Japan Pagoda. You can see 301 antique Buddha pictures and astonishing because they seem so realistic and lifelike. The 301 Buddha pictures were painted by old nations and watched over by great mighty saccas and deity.

They say that the Pilgrim came to the old pagoda to answer their prayer with a 45-day vow. The number of visitors to the Japan Pagoda is higher in the winter and summers. Pagoda is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 16:00, but from 11:00 to 12:00 at lunch.

The journey to the Japanese Pagoda from Yangon is very simple with the Yangon-Hmawbi-Bus. There are many motorcycle racks from the Shan Chaung Pauk stop that will take you to the Japan Pagoda about 3 mile away. Since there are many people in the pagoda, the motorcycle racks offer a good level of services and you can be sure to use them.
