The Elephanta Caves

The Elephanta Caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a collection of cave temples mainly dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The" City of Caves", on an island in the sea of Oman near Bombay, contains a collection of rock art related to the cult of Shiva. Elephanta Caves are a great tourist attraction near the great Mumbai metropolis. The Elephanta Caves are a conglomerate of complex temples off the coast of Mumbai.
