City Star Hotel, Yangon
Close to the Sule Pagoda and the administration office, this is a good place to visit most of what Yangon has in the city centre. In the immediate vicinity is the beautiful Sule Pagoda, which is best frequented in the mornings, as it heats up in the afternoons, as the light of the sun shines on all the shining yellow color.
Bogyoke Market (Scott Market) is a great place to go and there are several nice cafes near by for a refreshing Ice Cream. There are several stylish eateries serving Suki, Chinese and Chinese dishes. There' s a commercial centre and it provides web connectivity, but this can be a bit difficult in Yangon and Myanmar in general.
