Budget Guest/ Yangon - Myanmar Forum
Hi, I am looking for a beautiful 1 room guest house/hostel for 3 nights from 11th to 13th November 2017. I' m always looking for something cheap that can be reserved on-line. Which do you mean cheap? They' re all downtown, paying more or less $30, can make reservations on-line. The rooms were beautiful, with a small buffet and not too far from the centre or the street 19, where you can dine well at noon.
The personnel was kind and the GH was clear.
Sharing and enjoying
Inexpensive accommodation in Yangon, just a few minutes walk from Sule Pagode, downtown Yangon. At our beigeleve the selection of cheap accommodation in the city center of Yangon. The Aircon Room Singleroom USD20 doubles $30 now with Dorms at $10. ahabandoola Guest House. Cheap in Yangon for $5 - $7 for a dormitory cot in the famous Hobbit Cave.
A great cultural and fellowship among travellers is the place to be inspire by other travellers. Suggested for those who enjoy to find the least expensive place, regardless of other thoughts. Okayinawa Guest House. More beautiful than the real thing, this guesthouse is newly refurbished and very reasonably located.
The bedrooms are large and slightly crowded, but singles are almost as cheap and offer some private time. Air Conditioned Dormitory USD10 USD15 One-bedroom. Next to the Chaye Maye Guest House is this new, brandnew and neat house. Guesthouse is a little crowded, but still neat.
Air conditioned twin room with private bathroom $30 Single room $20.
ahabandoola Guest Home, cheap Yangon Youth Hostel.
Mahabandoola Guesthouse is not only benefiting from its centrally located - opposite the Sule Pagoda - but also from its extremely conveniently located. The strong growth in tourist activity, coupled with Myanmar's rising rate of price hikes, has driven many markets higher in recent years. Awareness is cheap, because the state of the rooms and baths is very simple, if you are prissy about a little dirt then this place is not for you..... say that most of Yangon is probably not for you if you do.
We were very pleased with our $10 room (with A/C! although most rooms have a ventilator instead - so call in advance and ask for A/C - April 2013). Notice that Myanmar has seen its price rise! For 2014 we are expecting an 20%-30% rise in the Mahabandoola Guest House.
4 $ per passenger dormitory. $6 per passenger for doubles or singles. So if you know anyone else who can offer an AC twin room for $10 in Yangon, please post a note below, it's uncommon, we think! This is our doubleroom. Cheap - as cheap as $3 per room to stay on the living room floors (with supposedly all the food you can eat!), $4 per room per day for a sleeping room cot (3 to 4 persons, mattresses on the floor), and $6 per pers. for a twin or twin room - ventilator and A/C at the same cost.
Astonishingly situated - Directly opposite the Sule Pagode, the city center and about 10 walking minute to "Beer Street" (19th street) and 5 walking minute to the citycenter. Extremely welcoming personnel with enough English to make telephone bookings and help you with information about Yangon while you are here.
It is 300 kilo of 1 liter of hot tub at least as cheap as road-price. Up to 100kyats per minutes to reserve your next guest house. Quite safe - you can put your own lock on the outside of the doors and someone is at the front desk 24 hours a day (the owners' children are sleeping down there and let you in early at night).
When you live in a dormitory, you have no safe place. Judging from the photographs for yourself, you get a place to stay at $5, which is good enough for Yangon. Extremely thin wall and right next to a lively road and Mosque (with early prayer!).
But with our earplugs we still got a lot of sleeping. How much of Yangon, his neglect. You have to either make a booking by telephone or just show up. Contacts for Mahabandoola Guest House: It is VERY simple to find and manage the cab right next to the Sule Pagoda. Taxis from Yangon International are up to $5 per passenger, subject to how difficult you are dealing with.
You can take a 300-k yat ($0.35) per passenger from the Mingalar central station to the city. Myanmar we have so much love that we have written a travel brochure about it!
