Lacombe College is situated in Lacombe, Alberta, an hour's car ride from Edmonton International Airport and an hour and a half's car ride from Calgary International Airport. It is also linked to the Parkview Adventist Academy, the La Sierra University Extended campus program (offers a Master of Arts from its own School of Education), the Family Therapy Masterâs Degree Program and the Loma Linda Universityâs Marital and Family Therapy Masterâs Degree Progam.
Residences are also available from the college. The Maple Hall is opposite Lakeview Hall and is the home of the Upper School. This college provides the following facilities for students: CUC CUC Dining Hall, PE CENTRE (gym, rock climbers walls, swimming pools, outside skating rink), STUDENT EMPLOYMENT, STUDENT SUCCESS CENTRE (tutoring, careers management, consulting and testing), LIBRARY SERVICES, Campus Ministries (CAMPUS Ministries is subdivided into five work areas:
ACTIVITIES, Gospel Crusade, Dishapacy, Worship AND MISSION), FINANCIAL AND TRANSPORT-SHUTTLE SUPPORT (transport division provides transport with two 7 cars, a 14-passenger coach and a 24-passenger bus). The Canadian University College provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in professional sport. You can join the College Varsity Team or Intramural Sport.
The Alberta Colleges Athletic League features both basketball and volleyball, and the football clubs play in the Red Deer Indoor Football League.
