Burmese people

There is documentation that the area of today's Thailand was known of the presence of bay coloured kittens many hundred years ago. There is documentation that the area of today's Thailand was known of the presence of bay coloured kittens many hundred years ago. In the early 1900s bay was certainly introduced to the United Kingdom, although at that point they were regarded as a color variant of Siamese and received no assistance, as the pointed head was regarded as more preferable.

Burmese, as known in the West, was born from a small bay female called Wong Mau, which was taken to the USA in 1930 by a Dr. Thompson from Burma. Wong Mau turned out to be a truly hybride but selected breed that led to what we know today as Burmese.

Burmese personalities have resulted in their widespread appeal; they love their tribe and are just as fortunate with kids and other beasts. Burmese personalities have resulted in their widespread appeal; they love their tribe and are just as fortunate with kids and other beasts.

The Burmese is a mid-size, graceful looking female with delicate feet and toes. Burmese are characteristic of the race and this is in their eye, which has a dark amber or gold color, but more significantly, they are formed to have a cute, but tempting or roguish look.

The Burmesian has evolved somewhat differently in the Catholic Fanciers Association of America and although she is basically the same female, her look is somewhat sturdier and her hair round. It has a slightly different default to the other Myanmar people and only browns (sables), blues, chocolates and lilacs are known.

It also acknowledges what it calls "The Burmese European", with a different level more in line with that of the Burmese in other catteries. The Burmese come in a variety of strong and tortie-like colours: full sables; a bright, smooth gray with a silverish shine reminiscent of old tin; a hot, honey-beige milky chocoate; a beautiful purple that is a bright, tender pigeon gray with a slight pink; that of a mild, hot mandarin; that of apricot; and the smooth blend of crème and dark orange with a hint of dark orange; and the smooth blend of dark and dark choco, darkerries.

New Zealand Cat Fancy also accept a hot, bright, copper-coloured copper coloured dwarf roe deer, a very bright, mother-of-pearl coloured roe deer with pink and cremy overtones, a butterscotch with a browny purple/fawn and a pricot, which has a chilly, powdery pour over an intensive, pink crème in plain colour and embroidered tabbies in all shades as well as silvery and smoky.

Burmesin is a very good pet for the whole household, because she gets along with everyone, young and old, and likes to take in pets with her mates.
