A visa can be applied for in the Myanmar Embassy, Sun Hung Kai Centre, Room 2401, 30 Harbour Road, Wanchai (phone 2845 0810). It will take about two working day, but if you need an express visa, you can ask what they can do (an express visa, below, tends to be a good choice at a rush).

It is only available at Yangon, Mandalay and Nap Pyi Taw Airport, so if you are planning to land or sail, the E-Visa is not a good choice.
