Myanmar (Burma) in three wonderful moments
Let's be frank, most things make you want to go travelling - from the scent of cool coconut and the bustle of an overcrowded market place to looking back at old photographs. Lately, however, nothing has made us want to go more than this video of Myanmar. Shot, cut and staged by Ben McNamara, an Aussie director, the movie will take us on his two-week Intrepid trip through the side roads, backwaters and backstore-door areas of contemporary Myanmar.
Perhaps it's the soundtrack, maybe it's the little wonder at the end or maybe it's just the secret that goes with Southeast Asia's loneliest land, but something about this video makes us start packing our bags: We have been carrying out small group adventure trips for over 25 years, so we have some reports to tell.
