Blue Air launched a Liverpool John Lennon Airport facility in March 2017 with 8 locations throughout Europe. At the same time Blue Air has designed a "Welcome to Liverpool" Livery for its Boeing 737-800s ("YR-BMH"). This airplane contained taglines like "Coolity, Hot Welcome" and "Liverpool Music City" to advertise its new Liverpool based in England.

It is also the only custom painted airplane in the Blue Air family. At Larnaca International airport in Cyprus in July 2017, Blueair replaced the plane with a smaller Boeing 737-700. From November 2017, with the arrival of territorial continuity in Sardinia, Blue Air links Alghero International and Rome Fiumicino International airports, which in the past were run by Alitalia.

Following a meeting at Alghero Airport in early November, the carrier announces that the Riviera del Corallo is its forth global hub after Torino, Liverpool and Larnaca. Blue Air, the low-cost carrier, anticipates a revenue of 400 million euros in 2017 and will transport around five million air travelers, an improvement of over 35% for both of the two figures in comparison to 2016, said the company's CEO, Gheorghe Racaru.

Bucharest has used Blue Air as the main turntable for most of its story. Originally the airline's crossroads were at Aurel Vlaicu International until it was crowded and more and more urbanised, which led to the closing of the terminal for business carriers in 2012. The official opening of the airfield was not completed, but the operational tax for carriers was raised abruptly until no carrier could no longer pay it.

20 ] As a consequence, all carriers relocated their operation to Bucharest's biggest international airfield, Henri Coand? International airport. Now Blue Air uses this airfield as its main turnstile. with the following airlines: A Blue Air Boeing 737-400, registered YR-BAS, which operates the 0B-9301 from Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport (Romania) to Barcelona (Spain), was due to arrive at Cluj International ( "Cluj International Airport", Romania) on January 7, 2016 to collect several people.

There were no wounds and the plane suffered no damages. 29 ][30][31] Cluj-Napoca International Airport was shut down for about 3 hrs because of the event. "Contacts Blue Air". www.blueairweb.com.
