JourneyAdvisor ranks five Thai destinations as Best in Asia for 2017
Thailand is home to five of Asia's most visited destinations in 2017, according to a survey among the top 25 of the beloved TripAdvisor website, which recently published its Travellers' Choice Listings for the year. Phuket, Ko Samui and Ko Tao, the south of the island, and the towns of Bangkok and Chiang Mai have all been voted among the top 25 best destinations in Asia for 2017.
Philuket took third place with Samui and Koh Tao in places 7 and 15. The five destinations appear on a regular basis at the top of the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards, which are determined on the basis of the number and qualitiy of travelers' evaluations and evaluations on the TripAdvisor website over the past 12 months.
Also named "Best in the World", TripAdvisor travelers praise the city for its tropical waters, while Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand is a one-of-a-kind place to discover Thailand's indigenous cultures and fishermen's world. Also in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Tao was considered a heaven of "300 sunny working day per year", inviting "long afternoon stays".
