Barbecues can relate to the boiling methods themselves, the meats so prepared, the appliances used (the "barbecue grill" or just "barbecue") or to a kind of societal experience with this kind of cuisine.

Grill is usually done outside by curing the meats over firewood or coal. The grill in the barbeque can be prepared in large, custom-made tile or metallic stoves. Barbecues are practised in many parts of the globe and there are a number of local varieties. Grill technologies includes fumigating, frying or frying, stewing and barbecue.
