Click's first issue in Bangla will be broadcasted on Channel i in Bangladesh on Saturday, January 6. The BBC Probaho will now be aired on Mondays and Thursdays and the first show with a new look will be aired on Monday, January 8. Particular emphasis is placed on Bangladesh reporting. The Click is broadcasted from Channel i on Saturday at 18:00 CET.
The BBC Probaho is broadcasted every Monday and Thursday at 21.35 in Bangladesh (15.35 GMT). BBC News Bangla Facebook page has nearly 12 million fans (January 2018), about 80% of them in Bangladesh. The BBC News Bangla is part of the BBC World Service. This extension of the BBC Bangla TV offering is part of the extensive improvement currently being made by BBC World Service with a 291 million pounds subsidy from the UK government.
