Getting to Mae Sot
There is only Nok Air flying every day with propellers between here and Don Muang Airport in Bangkok. Taxi companies calculate 100 to 200 bahts for a trip to the city. There is a first-class bus leaving at 19:00 and stopping at Kamphaeng Phet and North Bangkok, where it arrives after about 13 hrs within a few kilometra.
Manhattan, Bangkok (morchite): There are second grade busses at 10:00, 19:00, 20:00 and 20:30 for 290 Bahts; first grade busses with restrooms run at 08:00, 18:40 and four from 21:00 to 21:30 for 373 Bahts; V. I. busses run three from 21:15 to 21:45 for 590 Bahts. It will take about 13 hour and most busses stop at Tak City and Kamphaeng Phet.
There are top quality busses at 06:00, 07:00 and 10:00 for 178 Bahts and last about sixh. Mini busses run every hour from 07:00 to 15:00 for 140 bahts and last about three inches. There is a first-rate bus at 08:00 and a stop in Lampang, Phayao and Chiang Rai, which arrives in Mae Sai after about nine hour.
Sariang Mae: Departure every 20 min from 06:00 to 12:20 o'clock for 200 Bt and lasts more than fourh. There are first-rate busses at 17:00 and 18:00 stopping at Pitsanulok and Khon Kaen, which arrive in Mukdhahan after about 13 h. The bus stops at Cairo. Minibuses run every hour from 07:00 to 15:00 for 172 bahts and last about four-hour.

You can also catch a minibus to Tak at the old bus terminal in the city centre (see below). Bangkok-linked busses also stop in Tak.
There is a first-rate bus that leaves at 5:30 pm and arrives in Bangkok, Pattaya, Rayong and Chanthaburi after about 12h. Songthaew's deep blues run every hours from 07:00 to 14:00 for 130 Bahts and last about five of them. Every 20 min. from 07:00 to 18:00 for 40 Bahts, lasts one hr. and also serves Mae Kasa.
Bikes can be hired in most inns and hostels for 50 Bahts, or at Famous Ray's Bicycle Store on Intarakiree Road. Situated next to the DK Hotel on Intarakiree, a retail store named Mr. Park sells motorcycles for 250 bahts per night, but is shut on Sunday.
