Astana

The Astana

The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana. class="mw-headline" id="Etymologie">Etymologie[edit] The modern Astana is a proposed town, like Brasília in Brazil, Canberra in Australia, Washington, D.C. in the United States and other proposed major cities. After Astana became the capitol of Kazakhstan, the form of the town was fundamentally overhauled.

Astana' s Masterplan was developed by the renowned Kisho Kurokawa, a famous architectural firm from Japan. Astana is the headquarters of the Kazakh Parliament, the Supreme Court, the Presidential Palace of Ak Orda and a number of divisions and agents of the Kazakh state.

11 ][12][13] Astana also has comprehensive health, sport and educational facilities. The town was re-named Tselinograd on 20 March 1961 (Russian: ??????????, letter'City of Tselina') to highlight the development of the town as the culturally and administratively centre of the campaign for virgin lands. In 1992 it was re-named Akmola, the changed initial name means "white grave".

On 10 December 1997, Akmola Almaty took over as the capitol of Kazakhstan. May 6, 1998, it was re-named Astana, which means "capital" in Kazakh. On 21 October 1868 Tsar Alexander II issued a bill on the administration of the Turgay, Ural, Akmolinsk and Semipalatinsk Oblasts. Khrushchev suggested on 14 March 1961 that the name of the town be changed to reflect its part in the campaign for virgin lands.

The Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR changed the name of Akmolinsk to Tselinograd on 20 March 1961. It has also been given a number of new landmark publics such as the Virgin Lands Palace, a Palace of Youth, a House of the Soviets, a new international airfield and several sporting facilities. The Astana is situated in Kazakhstan on the Ishim River in a very shallow, semi-arid steppic area, which occupies most of the area.

There are 722 in the town. Astana is 347 meters (1,138 ft) above sealevel. The Astana is situated in a vast plains area, in the transition area between the northern part of Kazakhstan and the sparsely populated central part of the country because of the Ishim River. There is a 6 hour delay to the LTC used by Astana after LTC or LTC+6:00.

It is also used by most Kazakhstani and Almaty. It is the second oldest capitol in the whole wide range after Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, a post previously occupied by the Canadian capitol Ottawa, until Astana was granted capitol in 1997. 31 ][32] Astana has an extremely continent-like microclimate with hot summers and long, very cool, arid, long, extremely cool-winter periods.

Summers sometimes get to +35 C (95 F), while -30 to -35 C (-22 to -31 F) between mid-December and early March are not uncommon. Among Kazakhs, Astana has a well-deserved name for its frequently strong wind, the impact of which is particularly noticeable in the rapidly evolving but relatively vulnerable left bank area of the town.

Astana has a wet continent overall (Köppen climatic class Dfb),[33] The mean ambient air quality in Astana is +3. It is the coolest months with an mean of -14. Celsius (6. 4 F) and recorded its slowest value in January 1893, when the freezing spell reached -51 degrees Celsius. This pyramidal structure would reflect the Kazakhstanes' culture in which different nations' culture, tradition and representative live side by side in peacefulness, harmoniousness and agreement.

Astana' s business is centred on commerce, manufacturing, transport, communications and building. The Astana is the head office of state-owned companies such as Samruk-Kazyna, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, KazMunayGas, KazTransOil, Kazatomprom, KEGOC, Kazpost and Kazakhtelecom. Astana - New York SEZ was founded in 2001 to support the development of industries and make the town more attractive for investment.

44 ] SEZ is planning to order five KZT 20 billion (around 108 million dollars) in Industriepark #1 in 2015. 44] The new international financial centre Astana is to be opened on 1 January 2018. The Astana is divided into three wards. The Yesil District, also known as the town' s eastern shore, was established by President's Order on 5 August 2008.

The Kazakh government invited internationally renowned Kazakh designers and developers to take part in a contest for the new capitol in April 1998. Kisho Kurokawa, the first prize was won on 6 October 1998. Kurokawa's suggestion was intended to maintain and rehabilitate the current town and to build a new town on the southern and eastern sides of the Ishim River, allowing the symbiosis of past and future.

To the north of the railroad, which runs through Astana in an east-west orientation, there are industry and less developed areas. Situated between the railroad line and the banks of the lshim is the town center, which is currently under intensive construction. Vladimir Laptev, the present head designer of Astana, wants to construct a Berlin in the Euro-Asian way.

There are a large number of sports clubs in the town. Astana FC of the Kazakh Premier Leagues is the biggest club of the group. Astana was established in 2009 and won four Ligatitel, three Kazakhstan Cups and two Kazakhstan Super Cups. 51 ] Their home town is the Astana Arena, which is also home to the Kazakh nation's FA and Bayterek FC.

FC Bayterek is a member of the Kazakh First Division. 52 ] FC Astana-1964 is headquartered in Kashymukan Munaitpasov Stadium and is playing in the Astana Municipal Football League. Astana' s bus system includes busses and shared taxi services. Akimat from Astana founded a business in 2011 that implements a number of changes and programs in the city known as Astana's New Traffic System.

As part of these programs, the bus routes of the Astana S-Bahn Station (BRT) are scheduled to begin operations in 2016. 82 ] Astana also has an aerial taxis service[83] and the advanced Astana Bike Cycling Share System. The motorways M-36 Chelyabinsk-Almaty and A-343 Astana-Petropavlovsk pass through the town. Astana' s strategical geographic location enables the municipality to act as a transportation and transshipment center for the goods that are transported from neighbouring railway terminals in the region.

Over 4 million visitors attended Expo 2017 in Astana, two time more than anticipated. The Astana has formal partnership agreements with 18 municipalities. Astana' s twinned and twinned is it: the city of Astana: The Story of Astana. Astana Akimat. January 19, 2013. Brought back on October 6, 2014.
