Airzena was founded in September 1993. Airzena began with scheduled services to the United Arab Emirates, Italy, China, Egypt, India, Syria and Vienna. During this difficult economic and political time, the rightly chosen corporate policy enabled the Group to gain acceptance and maintain its position in the airline industry.

Airzena became Georgia's flagship in 1999. The name of the airline was renamed Georgian Airways in August 2004. During the first half of 2000, the airline's senior executive board decided to modernise the Lufthansa Technik Group' existing fleets and lease two Boeing 737-500s from Hapag-Lloyd. That was the first case when the Georgian airline put the modern West European facilities into operation.

George Airways, formerly Airzena, is the national carrier of Georgia. It is a young, vibrant carrier located in Tsibili, linking this major hub with major cities in Europe and Asia. Now in private ownership and managed by professionals, the firm offers regular services from Tbilisi to Vienna, Amsterdam, Batumi, Moscow and Tel Aviv.

Now Georgian Airways is flying to Tbilisi, Paris, Saint-Petersburg and Odessa. It has code-share arrangements with Austrian Airlines via Vienna and KLM for Amsterdam-flying. The Georgian Airways aircraft fleets include B737-500, B737-700, Bombardier CRJ100ER and CRJ200LR. Georgian Airways has been a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association) since 2010. Since 2008 Georgian Airways has successfully completed three IOSA certifications, the last one in October 2012 and effective until March 2017.

Airzena was established in September 1993. At first, the carrier carried out scheduled services to the United Arab Emirates, Italy, China, Egypt, India, Syria and Austria. Georgian Airways was established in August 2014 to supersede the name Airzena. In Economy Class 1 item up to 8 kg and 2 items up to 8 kg in Business Class are permitted for carry-on luggage.

The Georgian Airways Airline offers its customers a high level of personal attention and convenience. Spaciousness, more convenience, private sphere, a selection of meals and beverages are the key characteristics of travelling in Blue Cuisine. Kazakhstan's Ministry of Investment and Development's Civil Aviation Committee has declared that Georgian Airways will recommence air services from Astana to Batumi.

There will be one flight per weeks from Friday 22 June to 1 September 2018. Situated on the Black Sea shore, Batumi is known as the touristic and culture centre of Georgia. Currently Air Astana also operates services to Almaty-Tbilisi (5 x weekly) and Astana-Tbilisi (3 x weekly) and the scat carrier operates 4 x weekly Aktau-Tbilisi-operations.

From 6 June Georgian Airways will be flying twice a week between London and the Georgian capitol Tbilisi. The expansion of the airline air transport system means that Georgian Airways has high expectations of becoming a competitive airline in the country's air transport marketplace. At the end the Slovak airport Bratislava won the Cupcake of the Weeks with 52% of the submitted ballots.

Last weekend, the delicious pastries marked the start of the Georgian Airways from Tbilisi. The Georgian Airways has launched its Enlargement this weekend with Georgia's domestic Tbilisi (TBS) to Barcelona (BCN), Berlin Schönefeld (SXF), Bratislava (BTS) and Brussels (BRU) services. It will operate on the airline's E190 aircraft, although all current services are not provided from the Georgian capitol.

Together with the twinned cities opened this weekend, the airline will commence operations in the next few months to Athens, Bologna, Cologne Bonn, Kazan, Paris CDG and Thessaloniki, all of which will be deployed on its E190s. Mr. Georgian Airways announces that from 25 March 2018 there will be scheduled non-stop connections from Tbilisi to Paris, Brussels, Barcelona, Berlin, Bratislava, Cologne and Bologna.

All of the new routes will be served twice a week, except Tbilisi-Berlin-Tbilisi (three flights a week). On Thursdays and Sundays to Brussels, Tuesdays and Fridays to Paris, Tuesdays and Fridays to Barcelona, Mondays, Wednesday and Sundays to Berlin, Tuesdays and Fridays to Bratislava, Tuesdays and Fridays to Cologne, Tuesdays and Thursdays to Bologna, Wednesday and Saturdays, Georgia Online reports.

George Airways has made this pie to celebrate the take-off of the first Tbilisi-London Gatwick mission in May. According to UK CAA figures, the airline carried just over 7,700 air travelers between its take-off and the end of November. Just a few Wizz Air opened a leg to London Luton a few short months after Georgian Airways' maiden trip, with the ULCC transporting almost 10,200 people until 30 November.

According to the ch-aviation of Flightradar24, Georgian Airways is said to have rented a Armenia Aircompany B737-700 soaked. There are also five other airplanes in the group, two of which are B737-700s, one CRJ-100 and one CRJ-200 each.
