Where exactly is the shuttleservice? A free of charge shuttles will be launched near the AirAsia office.

The office is on the 6th and between the 797th and 778th floors. The closest from the office, Free Shuttles depart between 26 and 27 and 79. In a rush, it is best to take a collective taxicab (4000 kyat per person). It' quicker than a shuttles. We' ll meet you at your place.

It is better to take a cab, as all cabs come and collect you from your hotels. It'?s 4000 kyat per capita, even if they do. So I asked the first questions on the subject and ended up taking a cab. When I got a cab to the bus stop, it probably would have taken 50% of the price of a cab to the city.

Advise not to come to the airfield too soon, as we had to wait an hours for the door to open. If you would suggest getting there 1 hours before getting in, there should be enough free space to do so. The thread has been discontinued due to apathy.

Hopefully you will join the discussion by publishing an open subject or start a new one.

Destination Highlights | Mandalay Highlights

The name Mandalay is reminiscent of an old royal kingdom, although this rather new town was founded in 1857 by King Mingdon Min of Burma. According to the legends, the town was constructed to fulfill Buddha's prediction that it would be a Buddhist megacity.

Built after Buddha's 554 BC trip to Dhanyawadi Cathedral of Arakan, it is one of the most popular buddhistic temple in the whole wide globe as it houses the Mahamuni painting (also known as the Great Wise). Mandalay Hill, a symbol of the town from which it takes its name, is 230 meters above the surface and offers a breathtaking view of the Stupa, the Ayeyarwady River and a breathtaking view of the town.

There are 1729 stairs on the roofed stairs, an elevator, or a car upstairs with a temple, a convent, and a relic of Peshawar (the three Buddha's bones ) in the hangar. King Mingdon's work consists of 729 plates of stone labeled with Tripitaka text, a compilation of writings from the Theravada Buddhist school.

There is also the biggest volume in the whole-with 730 sheets and 1460 pages on rock plates, placed in small Sinhala reliquary boxes or chests around the main gold plate. Amarapura is located just southwards of the town center and has an eventful past.

There you can see the U Bein Brigde - a 1.2 km long pedestrian footbridge which is the longest of its kind in the history of wood, Kyawtawgi Paya - a Stupa constructed in 1847 by King Pagan, and the Amarapura Palace remains which contain the graves of King Bodawpaya and King Bagyidaw and part of the old channel.

Here you can also find Buddha's holy replica of the tooth relic pagoda.
