A new five-star Novotel Yangon Max opens

At the inauguration the Union Minister of Hotel and Tourist Affairs Mr Htay Aung, Prime Minister of Yangon Region Mr Myint Swe, Minister of Cabinets, senior officials of international companies, NGOs and guest speakers took part. The Novotel Yangon Max is situated in the immediate vicinity of the city's trade and culture centre and Yangon International Airport.

The five-star Accor and five-star Accor ratings give the resort 366 rooms, two balls for business and leisure functions, F&B outlet and leisure complex. Modern styling pervades all floors of the Novotel Yangon Max rooms and suite with the presentation of room, transparence and lighting.

There are three restuarants and four pubs in the resort. Square is a full-time, internationally renowned food venue, offering genuine local food and a luncheon bar, the Royal Pavilion China Restuarant is the ace. The French Ristorante, which will open soon, has excellent restuarants with wonderful view of the Shwedagon Pagoda.

The Novotel Yangon Max with its two ball rooms, one congress room and six congress rooms provides the ideal setting for your business event. Yangon Ballroom has a 12 meter high blanket for up to 700 people, while the Pyay Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 people. Generous local car parks provide simple entry to conferences and conventions.

Novotel Yangon Max is the fifth Max Hotels Group property to have been constructed by Max Construction Co Ltd. with the approval of the Myanmar Investmentcommission and has a combined capital expenditure of over 86 billion Kyat with 30 billion Kyat overseas credit. The first five-star outdoor resort opened in Nay Pyi Taw last year.
